We have now booked the next cycling adventure, Florida, US. The plan is to start in Ft Lauderdale and bike all the way to Key West and then back to where we started, making it a total of 650 km. We will do this within 8 days, were 5 of those will be on the bike riding. The other days will be to enjoy the weather and hopefully some nice mojitos.
Since we'll be staying in different locations each night, we'll need to pack all our bagage on our bikes. This will be the fist time I'll do this kind of cycling adventure. Usually I start and end my rides in the same location, without the need to bring a lot of stuff with me. All this means that I don't have the necessary equipment to travel this way. I'll need to find some cycling bags suited for road bikes, large enough to carry bagage for a week, but at the same time small enough to fit on a road bike.
So on my to do list right now is to plan the route for each day, find cycling bags, and probably something more that I haven't thought about yet.
